Why is Juneteenth important?

These foundations are Philly-based. At Seven Singer Jewelers, we are a local Philly jeweler and feel it is important to give back to our own community. The organizations listed below will help uplift, support and make a difference.

Philadelphia Black Giving Circle: Their Mission is to cultivate charitable giving within the black community, build capacity and financial sustainability of Black-Led Non-Profits, and address the most pressing needs facing the Black Community in the Greater Philadelphia region.

PBGC works in conjunction with the Poise Foundation.

The Poise Foundation: Their mission is to assist the Black community in achieving self-sustaining practices, through strategic leadership, collective giving, grantmaking and advocacy.

The Milk Creek Urban Farm: Their mission as an educational farm and environmental education center located in West Philadelphia. We are dedicated to improving local access to fresh, chemical-free produce at low cost for the immediate Mill Creek community and surrounding neighborhoods. They are a people of color-led non-profit organization in service of communities of color in need of basic resources.
