Steven Singer Congratulates Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce on Their Engagement

Now, I’ll admit it, Travis Kelce is one happy man, and I’m one sad jeweler. Why? Because they didn’t take me up on my $1 million engagement ring offer a year ago! I know, I know, what were they thinking? But hey, no hard feelings, I’m still thrilled for them.

A New Offer: The Wedding Bands

Since I missed out on the engagement ring, I would like to make a new offer: If Taylor and Travis let us create their wedding bands, we’ll match the price of those bands and donate that amount to a charity of their choice. Love, football, and giving back? That’s a championship ring in my book.

A Closer Look at Taylor’s Ring

As predicted, Taylor’s ring features the elongated shape I knew she’d love. Hers is an old miner's radiant cut, approximately 7.5 carats, set in a stunning antique, decorative, and intricate hand-engraving setting. From what I can tell, it’s crafted in either 14K or 18K yellow or rose gold. And let me tell you, it’s absolutely beautiful and timeless.

Why It’s a Trendsetter

Jewelry trends always come full circle, and Taylor’s ring is proof. Right now, yellow gold is #1 while white gold and platinum are fading, as they tend to every few decades. We’re back in a 70s and 80s-inspired retro era with understated, classic, and elegant designs. Pair that with influence of Taylor Swift, and you can bet this style is about to set major trends. Many women are going to want something just like hers and lucky for them, we have similar designs here at Steven Singer Jewelers. We are already in the process of creating a replica and a new Taylor Made collection line.

A Shared Hometown Connection

Maybe I’m biased, but I feel a special connection to this engagement. Taylor grew up on the outskirts of Pennsylvania, just like me. And as a longtime fan of the Kelce brothers and of Taylor, this love story feels like a hometown win.

What’s It Worth?

So what’s the price tag on Taylor’s engagement ring? Depending on the jeweler and whether it was bought at retail, most likely between $1.5 and $2 million. If it were from me? Just $1 million.

At the end of the day, I couldn’t be happier for Taylor and Travis. Their love is the real deal, their ring is gorgeous, and their story is already one for the ages. Congratulations to the happy couple! And Travis, when it’s time for the wedding bands, give me a call.

Love (and hate),
Steven Singer
