History of Care Bears ™
Care Bears™ were created in 1981 as characters on greeting cards. They soon turned into the popular toy in 1982. Care Bears™ conceptualized to help people express emotions. The bears came in bright colors with different symbols on their stomach to signify what they stand for. For example: heart is for love, shamrock is for luck, a shooting star is for wishes, and rainbow is for cheer. The original Care Bears™ were named for the emotion they represented. We are thrilled to be partnering with Care Bears™ on this exciting project!
