What is Urban Beekeeping?
Cities may seem like the last place you’d think of for farming, but your organic homegrown garden can be a safe haven for bees. This may not seem sustainable in the city, BUT Philadelphia is home to 400 community gardens. This doesn’t count whatever plants you’re able to plant at home, should you not have access to one of these spaces. Urban Gardens provide year-round availability to pollen and nectar.
